Qasir recently launched a premium feature called Summarize Receipts. This feature promises a denser receipt display so that it can save on the use of receipt paper.
Maybe some of you are a little confused, so what's the difference with Arrange Additional Receipts?
Additional Receipt Settings--as the name suggests--are additional receipt settings to the basic receipt settings (free feature). Basic receipt settings allow you to add
1. Business logo
2. Header, where you can enter the outlet telephone number, shop email, or tagline.
3. Footer that contains additional information such as certain promos, discounts, social media accounts, etc.
If Arrange Receipt allows you to add information to the receipt, on the other hand Arrange Additional Receipt allows you to delete certain parts that you don't want on the receipt sheet. Like the words "Powered by Qasir", outlet name, outlet address, cashier's name and customer's name.
By deleting the parts you want, your receipt will look the way you want. Even if you delete the five sections completely, you will be able to reduce the length of your receipt and save on paper usage. However, please note, the main purpose of this feature is to organize the appearance of your receipt according to what you want (without parts that you consider unnecessary).
To activate the Set Additional Receipt feature, you just go to the Home menu in the application, then select this feature, follow the next steps. Even though this premium feature is paid, there's no need to worry, you only need to pay once to activate it forever. Harganya pun sangatlah terjangkau.

Then what about Summarized Receipt?
Basically, Summarize Receipts is part of Arrange Additional Receipts. If in Arrange Additional Receipts you are given the freedom to delete certain parts, the Summarize Receipts feature promises a more compact receipt display by reducing empty space between lines (spaces), several lines, and special lines for discount deductions. As a result, the layout will be compact and the length of the receipt will automatically be reduced. You don't need to make complicated settings, just activate the Summarize Receipt button as shown in the image below.
To activate, make sure you have purchased this feature. This can be done via the Home menu in the application, or via this link.
One more thing, to be able to activate Summarize Receipts, you have to purchase Manage Additional Receipts first, because as said at the beginning, this feature is part of Manage Additional Receipts.

So, there are two ways for you to save paper receipts. Set Additional Receipts and Summarize Receipts. Activate these two features immediately to get a receipt that is concise, solid and according to your wishes.
